Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh flagged on a Yuva Sangam contingent of the University for Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday.

* The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (Government of India) selected LPU students from among lakhs of participants

*The Vice Chancellor of Central University of Haryana, Prof. Tankeshwer Kumar, expressed his gratitude to the Governor for graciously hosting the Madhya Pradesh delegates and facilitating this enriching experience.

*Dr. M Honparkhe, HoD, Department of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics and Director of the training informed that this advanced training program is aimed to provide knowledge and hands-on practice in various reproductive technologies through lectures, practicals and demonstrations viz. colour doppler ultrasonography, trans-vaginal ultrasound guided ovum-pick up, embryo flushing, cytobrush technique and fetotomy procedures to update scientific knowledge and impart hands-on training in the field of animal reproduction.

The accomplishment was celebrated by Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kansal, Campus Director Dr. Sanjeev Aggarwal, and Director of Training and Placement Er. Harjot Singh Sidhu, who commended the students for their hard work and dedication.

• Harmanpreet Singh received the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna, while Sukhjeet Singh and Jarmanpreet Singh were awarded the Arjuna Award for their contributions to hockey • Dr. Mittal commended the sports fraternity of LPU for securing the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad (MAKA) Sports 1st Runner-Up Trophy for the second consecutive year

* The event was attended by Prof. Anand Sharma, Dean of Students' Welfare, who led the students and faculty members in reading the Preamble together. Prof. Anand Sharma emphasized the importance of following the path laid out by the founding members of the Constitution. He said that under the leadership of Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, the University plans to organize more such programs to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Constitution of India.

*Dr. Jatinder Paul Singh Gill, Vice-Chancellor, lauded the team for securing the funding for this project and emphasized that this will enhance the knowledge and entrepreneurial competencies among new entrants as well as existing dairy farmers for their sustainability in the dairy sector for the state of Punjab.

Later, the Japanese delegation met the PU Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig at her office. Appreciating the performance by the Japanese artists at PU Campus, Prof. Vig remarked, 'Such interactions are incredibly valuable for our students, as they provide a unique opportunity to experience and engage with diverse cultures. *The camp started with an auspicious opening ceremony in the benign presence of the Principal of the college Prof. J.K. Sehgal and Vice Principal Prof. Sneh Harshinder Sharma.
