New Delhi,22.10.23- The two days Dandiya Festival organised by Delhi Tourism at Major Dhayan Chand National Stadium, Delhi, concluded today. The event was inaugurated by Ms. Atishi, Hon'ble Minister of Tourism, Govt. of Delhi on 21st October 2023.

On the first day of the event, Delhiites showed up turned in good numbers wearing traditional colourful dandiya attire, especially youngsters. It was very fascinating to see the visitors dancing in fun to the tunes played by famous DJ Barkha Kaul & song sung by Bollywood singer - Sonali Bahuguna.

On the second day of the event, DJ Barkha Kaul played DJ beats which made everyone to dance whether one knows dancing or not. A loud noise could be heard far away from the venue when famous celebrity Bollywood singer Harshdeep Kaur reached the stage and started her performance which added colours to the event. The visitors were seen dancing in groups & enjoying their time. Everyone appreciated the efforts put in by Delhi Tourism to organise such events & provide opportunity to everyone to see their favourite Bollywood singers that too at free of cost. During the festival, the visitors were also seen enjoying their favourite food at the food stalls at the venue.

The event was concluded with prize distribution in various categories & with promise to bring more of such events in future. The next events in queue are Kavi Sammelan (27 to 29 October), Diwali Mela (3-5 November) etc. The dates may vary.
