All officers will be available in the office from 9 to 11 AM to address the concerns of the public

Chandigarh, October 20: Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Nayab Singh Saini reviewed various development projects in the state during a meeting with officials from the Urban Local Bodies and Development and Panchayats Department.

At the meeting held at Sant Kabir Kutir here today, the Chief Minister prioritizing the welfare of the people, directed the initiation of ‘Samadhan Shivirs’ in municipal bodies starting October 22. During these shivirs, all officers will be available in the office from 9 AM to 11 AM to address public concerns.

It was also decided that the Chief Minister will personally review development projects by convening a meeting with all Municipal Corporation Commissioners in Chandigarh on October 24 at 9 AM.

The Chief Minister also instructed officials to create a development action plan aligned with future needs, emphasizing the importance of listening to and promptly addressing the issues and needs of the public. He also reviewed the work of the Development and Panchayats Department and directed to expedite the stalled development projects of the department.

Notably, since taking office, Chief Minister Mr Nayab Singh Saini has been actively making decisions in the interest of the state's citizens.

He criticized the AAP Delhi's government for consistently pointing fingers at others while failing to acknowledge its own failures.

In a statement issued today, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini said that the BOD of the water supplied to Delhi from Haryana is about 2-3 mg per liter. Apart from this, the BOD of the water supplied to Delhi through the CLC canal is equal to zero. But the Delhi government should tell who is responsible for the pollution in the 28 drains that carry water from the Delhi border to Okhla.

Delhi government should tell what they did with the money received from the Centre for cleaning the Yamuna

The Chief Minister asked the Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi in a questioning manner that the Delhi government should also tell that till now Delhi government has received more than Rs 6,000 crore from the Central government for cleaning the Yamuna, out of which 3,000 crore has been received in the last 2 years. What has the Delhi government done with that money.

Sh. Nayab Singh Saini criticized the Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi, stating that they consistently blame others while using government funds to build their own interests. He emphasized that their focus is on personal gain rather than addressing public issues.

Cabinet Minister Shyam Singh Rana welcomed the Chief Minister’s decision to classify reservation for Scheduled Castes

Chandigarh, October 20– Haryana Cabinet Minister Shyam Singh Rana welcomed the decision to classify reservations for Scheduled Castes, stating that it will integrate the marginalized communities into the mainstream of society. He said that there has been a longstanding demand for this classification in Haryana.

The deprived Scheduled Castes had requested a 10 percent reservation from the total 20 percent allocated for Scheduled Castes. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini fulfilled this demand by announcing a separate 10 percent quota for a group of 36 castes within the deprived Scheduled Class on the very first day of his tenure.

Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, he said that in Haryana, a group of 36 castes, including Valmiki, Dhanak, Khatik, Bajigar, Oad, Doom, Julaha, Sikligar, and Sahasi, previously received a separate 10 percent reservation only in higher education. Chief Minister Nayab Saini has now extended this reservation to government jobs also. This decision will enable this marginalized section to improve their standard of living through access to government employment, allowing them to join the mainstream of society.
