‘Mr Sukhu is first Chief Minister of State dedicated to prosperity of farmers’
*Milk Cooperative Societies appreciate efforts of present state government
SHIMLA -15th November, 2024-On the occasion of the inauguration of a 50 thousand litre capacity milk processing plant in Duttnagar of Shimla district, milk producing farmers praised the state government.
Representatives of Milk Cooperative Societies thanked the Chief Minister for the record increase in the price of milk purchase in the state. He said that today farmers and milk producers of four districts have gathered here to personally thank the Chief Minister.
Tula Ram Sharma, a resident of Lalsa village said that due to the efforts of the present state government, the farmers of the state are again associated with farming and animal husbandry. He said that earlier the rate of milk was increased by one or two rupees per year, but the present Chief Minister has made a historic increase of 13-15 rupees in the rate, for which he thanked the state government. He said that Himachal Pradesh has become the first state in the country to provide minimum support price on milk.
Dalip Singh, resident of Shalabag, thanked Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on behalf of all the milk producers for once again starting the white revolution in the state. He said that the increase in milk rates has benefited lakhs of milk producers and the efforts of the state government to promote milk production are commendable.
Tapri resident Subhash Sharma said that the present state government is giving the right price to the farmers for their produce, due to which the economic condition of the farmers has improved. He said that the farmers have once again increased their inclination towards animal husbandry. He said that the concern for farmers and animal breeders is clearly visible in the budget of the state government.
Shuli resident Sunil Sharma said that Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu cares about the person sitting in the last row of the society. He said that Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu is the first Chief Minister of the state to work with full dedication to make the farmers prosperous. He thanked the state government for increasing the compensation amount to Rs. 55 thousand for the death of milch animals during the disaster.
