Chandigarh -Dated 22.01.2025-SBI Inter Circle Basketball Tournament at Chandigarh kicked off with great enthusiasm on 21.01.2025 at Basketball Indoor Stadium, Sports Complex, Sector 42, Chandigarh. Seventeen teams from all Circles of the SBI are participating in the Tournament.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by Sh. Krishan Kumar, Chief General Manager of SBI Chandigarh Circle as Chief Guest, along with Sh. Sujit Kumar, General Manager – Network 2, Sh. Vimal Kishore, General Manager – Network 3 and other dignitaries. The event began with march past by participating teams, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting by Chief Guest, Sh. Krishan Kumar. The ceremony also featured a stirring performance by Bhangra Team.

Opening game was held between Kolkata and Bengaluru teams, with Bengaluru team emerging victorious. A total of ten matches were played on Day 1. Final match will be played on 24.01.2025.
