*"The decision to increase electricity prices is determined by HERC."— Vij
Chandigarh, April 1 – Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij said that "Today's fragmented opposition is only working to create obstacles in the ongoing development work." He added, "We are not against any religion or caste, we are against those who exploit religion for their own interests and those who spread terror in the name of religion. We have always been and will always remain against such elements." Additionally, he said that "The RSS is our center of strength, it is not just for us but represents a spirit of patriotism for the entire nation."
Sh. Vij was responding to questions asked by media persons today.
*"It seems that this fragmented opposition exists only to give contradictory statements."— Vij
He said that "Whenever there is a strategic strike, the opposition gives various statements. Whether it is development work, reforms, or any improvement, they always make contradictory statements. The abrogation of Article 370, which was a stain on India's face, was a historic decision, but instead of celebrating, the opposition opposed it. A grand temple of Lord Ram was built in Ayodhya, and they opposed that too. The Mahakumbh Mela witnessed 66 crore devotees, with more than half of India participating—this number exceeds the population of several countries—but even then, they criticized it. It seems this broken opposition exists only to make contradictory statements."
*"Mamata Banerjee has ruined Bengal, no one in Bengal feels safe."— Vij
When asked about his remarks regarding Mamata Banerjee’s party and its alleged misuse of religion, he reiterated that "We are not against any religion or caste, we are against those who exploit religion for their own interests and those who spread terror in the name of religion. We have always been and will always remain against such elements." He strongly criticized Mamata Banerjee, saying, "She has no real authority, yet she has ruined Bengal. Today, no one in Bengal feels safe. Is this what her ideology stands for?"
*"Mamata Banerjee should take tution from Yogi Adityanath."— Vij
He further remarked that "Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath successfully organized a massive event, and no one dared to create trouble there. As I have said before, Mamata Banerjee should take tution from Yogi Adityanath for a few days."
*"The need for toll booth employees will soon be eliminated."— Vij
When asked about toll booths, he stated that "There has been extensive debate on this issue. Nitin Gadkari has announced that the need for toll booth employees will soon be eliminated. Every vehicle will have an automated system installed, which allowing seamless movement."
*"The decision to increase electricity prices is determined by HERC."— Vij
When questioned about electricity rates, he clarified that "The decision to increase electricity prices is determined by the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC). Our role is only to submit our balance sheets to them. Until they make a decision, no response can be given on this matter."
*"The RSS is known for instilling patriotism deeply."— Vij
Speaking about the RSS, he said that "The RSS is our center of strength, it is not just for us but represents a spirit of patriotism for the entire nation. It is known for deeply instilling a sense of patriotism."
*"We go wherever we have faith."— Vij
He added that "If someone goes somewhere based on their faith, no one should have any objections. If we start pointing out where the opposition goes and who they meet, it would create a controversy. So, such matters should not be made personal. Our faith takes us to places of significance. Should we not go there just because the opposition is atheistic? They neither have faith in God nor in the people. Wherever we have faith, we will go. Wherever Prime Minister Modi has faith, he will go, he added."
