One such case has come to light in Vardaan Hospital Patran in which 65-year-old Mrs. Murti Devi died due to wrong injection and medicine. National Scheduled Castes Alliance President Paramjit Singh Kainth gave information about this unfortunate incident in a press conference here and he said that this incident is not the only one but such cases have come to light in front of Vardaan Hospital earlier also but till date it has not made any difference to all these people and neither the civil administration nor the police administration took any action against them. When the family members started calling more people, the hospital managers said that the woman died due to some reason. Sardar Kainth said that the hospital management pressurized the family to end the matter here and the family was also pressurized by some city leaders and the The surprising thing is that the hospital did not even get the post-mortem done. Alliance Chief Sardar Kainth said that the hospital authorities also violated the orders of the Supreme Court and the orders have said that a postmortem should be done in all cases after the death of the patient, but this was not done. The body was cremated in a hurry due to forcibly and threats to the victim's family.
Senior leader Sardar Paramjit Singh Kaith said that if a patient dies due to alleged medical negligence, the victim's relative can request the police to register an FIR as per the law, which can be registered under Section 304 or 304-A (causing death by negligence) of the Indian Penal Code. The victim's family demanded immediate legal action and arrest from the administration under Section 304 and strict action should be taken against the doctors and staff members of Vardaan Hospital Patran as well as the management because the case of negligence of doctors in private hospitals with irresponsible staff and less experienced doctors always remains in the headlines.
