PM to give major gifts to Haryana on April 14- Shyam Singh Rana
Chandigarh, April 7- Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said that Prime Minister, Sh.Narendra Modi will give important gifts to the people of Haryana on April 14, the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. On this day, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for an 800 MW thermal power unit in Yamunanagar and will inaugurate a new airport and lay the foundation stone for a terminal in Hisar. This will be a proud moment for the state. The thermal unit in Yamunanagar will be constructed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). He said these projects will become milestones in Haryana’s development.
Sh. Rana said that lakhs of people will gather to attend the programme. People from 12 districts in Yamunanagar and from 15 districts in Hisar. He said the PM’s visit will be a historic moment for Haryana’s growth. Thousands of people from the Radaur assembly area will also attend to hear the Prime Minister speak.
Sh. Shyam Singh Rana also said that mustard and wheat crops are being purchased at MSP in Haryana. The payment for the crops is being directly transferred to farmers’ bank accounts. He further said that strict laws have been made to prevent the sale of artificial seeds and medicines, which will help increase farmers’ income. Proper arrangements have been made at procurement centers in the Mandis to ensure that farmers don’t face any inconvenience and every grain of their crop is purchased.

Chandigarh, April 7 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said Lord Shri Ram is a symbol of our culture, tradition and ‘Bharatiyata'. His life shows us the path of truth, religion, duty and dignity. He is our source of inspiration.
The Chief Minister interacted with the Haryanvi diaspora in Paris, France, through video conferencing on the occasion of Ram Navami. The programme was organized by the Department of Foreign Cooperation, Haryana Government.
While extending heartfelt wishes and congratulations to everyone on this auspicious festival, the Chief Minister said the whole country is resonating with the name of Lord Ram. There is a buzz of Shri Ram Janmotsav from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. There is a wonderful atmosphere of devotion all around. The tune of Shri Ram's name and the echo of bhajans are being heard in every direction. Not just in India, crores of devotees are celebrating this festival with enthusiasm and zest in foreign countries also.
He said Ram Navami gives us an opportunity to remember the ideals and life values of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram. We learn from Lord Ram that we should remain connected to our birthplace. His life teaches us how to follow the path of truth and duty by keeping patience even in difficult situations. His personality teaches us to discharge family and social responsibilities. His ideals are a source of inspiration for us. His birthplace Ayodhya is a source of energy for every Indian.
He said the grand and divine Shri Ram Temple built in Ayodhya is the pride of India and the centre of faith of countrymen.
The Chief Minister said he still remembers the visuals of January 22, 2024, when the whole country was celebrating Diwali at the time of Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. It is the result of our virtuous deeds that we became witnesses of that moment. This festival of Ram Navami is not only a celebration of the birth of Lord Ram, but also a resolution to adopt his ideals.
The Chief Minister said the life of Lord Shri Ram teaches us that those who follow the path of truth may have to face many difficulties, but ultimately truth wins. The ideals of Shri Ram are guiding not only in our personal life, but also in society and nation building. Today, when we are moving towards the creation of ‘Viksit Haryana-Viksit Bharat’, we should discharge our responsibilities by taking inspiration from the ideals of Lord Shri Ram.
He said the mantra given by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas' is also an effort to realize the ideals of Ramrajya. It is our good fortune that the Prime Minister will inaugurate the air service to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Ayodhya from Maharaja Agrasen Airport in Hisar on April 14.
The Chief Minister said on this Ram Navami, let us all together take a pledge that we will maintain an environment of peace, prosperity and harmony in our society and state.

Chandigarh, April 7 – In an inspiring session with Class 12 students, Haryana Chief Secretary Sh. Anurag Rastogi today emphasized the importance of self-confidence, focus and hard work in achieving high aspirations.
Addressing students at PM SHRI Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School at Bataur village in the Barwala block of Panchkula, he shared personal insights and urged them to make the most of opportunities available in government model schools. Speaking as the chief guest at an interactive event, Sh. Rastogi said the state government is bridging the gap between private and public education by establishing Model Sanskriti and Saarthak Model Schools, which offer superior and affordable education—especially to students from economically weaker sections. “These schools are designed to nurture talent that may otherwise go unnoticed due to financial constraints,” he said. The Chief Secretary also announced to give Rs 51,000 from his own salary to PM Shri Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School for innovation activities.
Personal Journey as Inspiration
Recounting his own journey from a government school student to becoming an IAS officer and now the Chief Secretary, Sh. Rastogi encouraged students to believe in themselves. Responding to a student named Shivani who asked about preparing for the IAS, he emphasized the role of family, teachers, confidence, and concentration in reaching such goals.
Call to Teachers: Inspire, Communicate, Empower
Sh. Rastogi also interacted with teachers and school heads, stressing that accessible and empowering teachers can transform a student's journey. “Teachers must engage directly with students, understand their concerns, and build their confidence,” he said. He added that the government plans to open a Model Sanskriti School at every 10 km in Haryana.
Addressing Local Issues with Prompt Solutions
Responding to a student concern regarding the lack of bus service between Bataur and Shyamtoo, Sh. Rastogi assured students that the matter would be addressed and public transport will be made available soon.
Practical Tips for Civil Services Aspirants
Additional Deputy Commissioner Nisha Yadav also guided students on IAS exam preparation, advising them to stay updated through newspapers and TV, study past papers, and cultivate discipline, confidence, and family support.
District Education Officer Sh. Satpal Kaushik said in the 2024-25 session, Panchkula district stood first in Haryana in the results of Class 10. Apart from this, there was an increase of 68,188 in the number of admissions of students in the government schools of Panchkula district in the 2024-25 session and the district stood second in Haryana in enrollment.
Joint Director Sh. Neeraj Sharma, Director of Elementary Education Sh. Vivek Aggarwal, Assistant Director Sh. Kuldeep Mehta, and others, along with principals from schools across the Barwala block were present on the occasion.

Haryana Development Minister Krishan Lal Panwar reviews preparations for PM’s proposed visit to Yamunanagar
Chandigarh, April 7- Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister, Sh.Krishan Lal Panwar, visited Yamunanagar on Monday to review the preparations for the proposed visit of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi. He inspected the programme venue and gave necessary directions to the officers regarding the arrangements.
Sh. Panwar said that Prime Minister, Sh.Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the third unit of the thermal power plant in Yamunanagar. A large number of people will attend the event, so it is important to complete all arrangements on time. He directed officers to ensure proper facilities for drinking water, toilets, parking, security, seating, and cleanliness in and around the venue so that the public does not face any inconvenience.
He further said that the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the third unit of 800 MW thermal power plant in Yamunanagar. Which will cost around Rs.7,272 crore. The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.
Mayor, Yamunanagar, Smt. Suman Bahmani, BJP District President, Sh. Rajesh Sapra, and officers from various departments also remained present during the visit.
