One arrested in NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested one lady R/o # Sector 38 Chandigarh from near Govt. School Sector 56 Chandigarh on 06.04.2025 and recovered 17.06 grams Heroin from her possession. A Case FIR No 52 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested in attempt to Murder case

A Case FIR No 54 U/S 109 BNS has been registered in Police Station Sector 34 Chandigarh on the complaint of Satish Mahajan R/o # 2165 Top Floor Sector 44/C, CHD against Puneet Mahajan R/o # 2165 Top Floor Sector-44 Chandigarh Who picked up a glass jug and hit the complainant wife and Stabbed to Complainant, his nephew Atul and his Servant at his residence on 06-04-2025. Complainant, his wife, nephew Atul and his Servant all got injured and admitted in GMCH-32.During the investigation, the accused person was arrested. Investigation of this case is in progress.

One arrested for consuming liquor

Chandigarh police arrested Akash @ Shisha R/o # 217 kishangarh Chandigarh age- 23 yrs from R# 817 Kishangarh Chandigarh while drinking and creating nuisance at public place. A Case FIR No 29 U/S 68-1/B PP Act has been registered in Police Station IT Park Chandigarh. Later on the accused bailed out. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Theft

A Case FIR No 29 U/S 305, 331(4), 62, 3(5) BNS has been registered in Police Station Mauli Jagran on the complaint of Rajan Popli, Branch Manager of Manimajra Axis Branch, SCO No 916, Pocket no 06, NAC Manimajra Chandigarh against 2 unknown person who entered in SCO No 916 NAC Manimajra Chandigarh after broken the back side wall and try to stolen cash box on 6.4.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.
