It is important to introduce environment friendly technologies in dairy farming to maintain the productivity of dairy animals. *Dr. Parkash Singh Brar, Director of Extension Education said that climate change is a major concern worldwide for all the stakeholders of the dairy industry. Animal health experts have associated the recent outbreaks in livestock with weather changes.

*Dr. Parkash Singh Brar, Director of Extension Education said that the dairy industry in Punjab has made tremendous progress owing to improved management practices and innovations.

*In the valedictory remarks, Dr. Rameshwar Singh, President IAUA mentioned that the recommendations emerged out of deliberations from the five technical sessions would be helpful for developing policies for the benefits of farmers and later to the policy makers.
