Jalandhar,18.02.25- Lovely Professional University (LPU) hosted a six-day Online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “High-Performance Computing (HPC): Foundations, Parallel Programming, and GPU Acceleration,” sponsored by AICTE ATAL. The program, which attracted 115 participants from various institutions across India, offered comprehensive insights into the latest advancements in the field of HPC and its practical applications.

The event was coordinated by Ajay Kumar Sharma, Assistant Professor, and COD Department of Corporate Training, HRDC, LPU, and co-coordinated by Dr. Sunaina Ahuja, Professor and Dean of HRDC, LPU. In the inaugural address, Dr. Ahuja expressed heartfelt gratitude to AICTE for providing the opportunity to LPU to host this prestigious program.

The program featured distinguished experts from both academia and industry, including Seetharaman Venkatraman, Executive Director at Nomura, Gagan Sharma, Head of Informatics at the Melbourne Brain Centre, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Australia, Dr. Saurav Nanda, AI Senior Architect at Synopsys, USA, Palvinder Singh, Founder & CEO of Secuneus Tech, Sanchit Singla, Solution Advisor at SaS, Awadhesh Shukla, Lead Consultant at Quick Heal, and Pushpendra Kumar Pateriya, Assistant Professor at LPU.
