SHIMLA-24 February, 2025-Health & Family Affairs Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil chaired a meeting of High Power Purchase Committee (HPPC) held here today in which approval was given to float rate contract tenders to equip Adarsh Swasthya Sansthans with all necessary machines and equipments of world class standards.

The Minister said that the state government was dedicated to the welfare of the citizens of the state and providing state-of-the-art healthcare was one of its topmost priorities. "Since day one, we are working to make quality healthcare accessible to everyone at their doorsteps and for this we are opening 69 Adarsh Swasthya Sansthans, one each in all the Assembly constituencies of the state and two in Lahaul and Spiti," he stated.

The Health Minister said that approval has been given by the committee to open the bid for providing CT-Scan services on public private partnership mode in government-run health institutions across the state. Approval was also given to open the financial bid to procure Phaco Machines for various government health institutions.

He concluded: "The committee has given approval for purchasing the latest and best quality equipment. Furthermore, the government is ensuring that complete transparency is maintained while procuring machinery."

Health Secretary M. Sudha Devi, Advisor Infrastructure Anil Kapil and MD of the Corporation Divyanshu and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
