Chandigarh, February 25 - Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the Haryana Government has fulfilled 18 promises of the Sankalp Patra in first 100 days while work is going on 10 promises. He assured that every promise of the Sankalp Patra will be fulfilled. Haryana will move ahead on the path of development at a faster pace and will realize the dream of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi of making a ‘Viksit Bharat’.
The Chief Minister was addressing a programme organized in Karnal on Tuesday. Targeting the Opposition, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the Congress has always tried to spoil brotherhood. People know the state of development work before 2014 whereas the present government is continuously getting development work done at a fast pace.
He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, the people of the country are continuously expressing their trust in the welfare policies of the government and recently, in the Delhi elections, the people put their stamp of trust on the policies of the government. He said after the formation of a government in local body elections, the state government will work at three times the speed.
BJP State President Sh. Mohan Lal Badoli, MLAs Sh. Jagmohan Anand, Sh. Ramkumar Kashyap and former Assembly Speaker Sh. Gian Chand Gupta along with other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

Chandigarh, February 25 - Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, while attacking the Opposition, said Congress leaders had talked about selling jobs during the Assembly elections, which adversely affected the morale of the youth. Hence, the public rejected the Congress. He said the present state government has done the work of giving jobs to the youth on merit without ‘parchi-kharchi’. Today, the trust of the youth in the government has increased and a perception has been created that whoever is eligible, will get selected in the recruitment process.
The Chief Minister was addressing the people present at a programme organized in Panipat on Tuesday. Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said when the process of giving jobs to the youth was going on during the Assembly elections, the Congress leaders went to the Election Commission and stopped the recruitment process. But I fulfilled my promise and got more than 25,000 youths to join service before taking oath as the Chief Minister.
He said Panipat is a religious, historical, industrial and commercial city and keeping this in mind, development work is being done at a rapid pace in this area so that people associated with various businesses can be benefitted.
He said there are immense possibilities in industry in the Panipat region and MSME industries can prove to be very effective in this direction. The government has implemented the concept of one block-one product, following the cluster approach to promote the MSME industry.
Solving problems of public top priority of government
The Chief Minister said it is the responsibility of the government to solve the problems of the public and this is our top priority. Regarding this, strict instructions have been given to all officers that complaints of the public should be resolved within the stipulated time. In this series, all the Deputy Commissioners listen to the problems of the people in Samadhan camps for 2 hours every morning and resolve them. He said he himself regularly reviews these Samadhan camps and also talks to people.
He said under the leadership of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, the Central Government has strengthened the country in the last 10 years. Under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the Haryana Government is working for public welfare. The state government is continuously working to fulfill the promises made in its Sankalp Patra. Within 100 days of the government, free dialysis facility is being provided to kidney patients. Today, more than 15 lakh women are being given cylinders for Rs 500. He said the government has given ownership rights to people living in houses built on Panchayat land.
Triple engine government will be formed soon
The Chief Minister said there is a double engine government in Haryana, which is ensuring equal development of every sector and now with the formation of a triple engine government soon, development work will be done at a faster pace on the ground. There is enthusiasm and trust in the public towards the present government. The government's vision regarding development is clear. Just as the public has expressed their trust in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, in the same way, there is a lot of enthusiasm among the people for ensuring the party’s victory in the municipal elections.

Officials must complete investigations within stipulated time period: Dr. Sumita Misra
Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department issues instructions for immediate action in cognizable crimes
Chandigarh, February 25 – Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Dr. Sumita Misra has said that investigations should be completed and challans should be presented in the court within the stipulated time period. She was chairing the 24th state-level committee meeting of identified crime cases at the Civil Secretariat today. In this meeting, cases for the period from October 2024 to January 2025 were reviewed. Cases under the POCSO Act, NDPS Act, murder, attempt to rape, SC/ST Act and other crimes fall under the category of identified crimes.
Dr. Sumita Misra directed the police department that all investigating officers should complete the investigations within the stipulated time limit and submit the challan in the court. Necessary instructions were issued to officers of the Forensic Science Laboratory, Haryana to submit the reports in the desired cases on time. Apart from this, the Director, Prosecution Department was directed to request the court for speedy hearing of the cases of identified crimes through District Attorneys so that these can be disposed of soon. All District Attorneys should effectively plead the cases on behalf of the government so that the conviction rate increases and the desired objectives can be achieved.
Dr. Misra instructed the officials of the concerned departments to take immediate action in cognizable crimes. The investigating officers were asked to complete the investigation of the cases on a priority basis and compile the necessary documents on time. It was decided to further encourage the use of videoconferencing to ensure the safety and presence of witnesses and to speed up the hearing process.
After reviewing the decisions taken in the previous meeting, detailed discussions were held on the agenda items. Officials informed that a total of 2,279 cases have been included in the list of identified crimes, out of which 500 cases have been disposed of by the court. Of these, punishment was pronounced in 289 cases, making the conviction rate 60.46 percent. Apart from this, it was recommended to include 209 new cases in the list of identified crimes during the period from 1st October, 2024 to 31st January, 2025, which was approved.
Law Advisor, senior officials of Police, Prosecution, Crime, Law and Order, Intelligence and Home Departments and other senior officials were present in the meeting.

Speaker Harvinder Kalyan conducts surprise inspection of Haryana MLA Hostel in Chandigarh
Issues strict instructions to officials, says laxity in maintenance of hostel will not be tolerated
Chandigarh, February 25 - Haryana Legislative Assembly Speaker Sh. Harvinder Kalyan conducted a surprise inspection of the Haryana MLA Hostel located in Sector 3 here on Tuesday. During this, he went to the hostel rooms and took stock of the facilities being provided there. The Speaker inspected the hostel canteen, kitchen and rooms. After this, he also went to the gymnasium and dormitory. The Speaker did not seem satisfied with the arrangements at the canteen of the Haryana Hospitality Department.
He also inspected the Public Works Department office built behind the MLA hostel and the area around it. During this, he inquired about the food, accommodation and other arrangements for the security personnel deployed in the premises and expressed dissatisfaction over it. During the inspection, the police barracks were found in a dilapidated condition and the food items were also in disarray. Taking serious cognizance of this, the Speaker of the Assembly directed the officers of all the departments that all the arrangements for the jawans should be made properly and the food items should be prepared in a hygienic way. He said any kind of negligence in such matters will not be accepted.
He instructed officers of the Haryana Public Works Department and other departments to ensure better maintenance and arrangements at the MLA Hostel.

Krishan Lal Panwar inspects construction work of pond under Amrit Sarovar Scheme in Fatehabad
Chandigarh, February 25 - Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar on Monday inspected the Amrit Sarovar pond of Dhangar village in Fatehabad. During this, he thoroughly reviewed the construction work done by the department and gave necessary guidelines to officials.
During the inspection, the Development and Panchayat Minister said this pond constructed under the Amrit Sarovar Scheme will play an important role in water conservation, increasing the groundwater level and maintaining natural beauty in the village. He said the state government is giving top priority to the development of rural areas and water conservation and the pond work is an important step in this direction.
The minister took detailed information from the concerned officials about the quality of construction works, water storage capacity and maintenance of the pond. He directed the officials to make special efforts to develop greenery around the pond, ensure cleanliness and make the villagers aware about water conservation. He said the state government is committed to effectively implement water conservation schemes and ponds are being constructed and revived in every district under the Amrit Sarovar Scheme. He also called upon the villagers to play an active role in the cleanliness and conservation of these water sources.

The Haryana Right to Service Commission has directed Commercial Assistant (CA) working in Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Samalkha to pay a fine of Rs 1,000 and compensation of Rs 3,000 to the consumer.
Chandigarh, February 25 – The Haryana Right to Service Commission has directed Commercial Assistant (CA) working in Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Samalkha to pay a fine of Rs 1,000 and compensation of Rs 3,000 to the consumer. The commission imposed the fine for not providing the notified service to the applicant within the stipulated time limit and closing the complaint without investigation.
Giving information, a spokesperson of the commission said Raj Kumar of Bhodwal Majri village, Panipat lodged a complaint regarding a wrong bill in November 2024. The commission, after considering all the facts and circumstances of the case, observed that the matter has been unnecessarily complicated by the concerned officers, who completely failed to discharge their duties.
Similarly, Haryana Right to Service Commission has imposed a fine of Rs. 500 on Commercial Assistant (CA) working in Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Sohna and Rs 300 on the then clerk. The commission has imposed this fine for not providing the notified service to the applicant within the stipulated time limit and negligence in work.
Giving information, a spokesperson of the commission said a complaint was lodged regarding correction in the bill by a Private company. The PDCO was registered on December 6, 2023, yet bills continued to be issued to the consumer as the PDCO was not properly updated in the online system. The commission, after carefully considering all the facts and circumstances of the case took action against both the employees.
