*Annual Fete organized by National Institute of Nursing Education, PGI a Grand success*
The National Institute of Nursing education (NINE), PGIMER, Chandigarh organized the annual fete, a fundraising event for the welfare of underprivileged patients on 25th Feb, 2025 at NINE, PGIMER, Chandigarh. The students and faculty of NINE came up with innovative fund raising idea for the underprivileged patients, featuring a variety of engaging activities that captured the hearts of attendees. From mouth-watering food stalls offering an array of regional delicacies like Daal bhaati churma, maakki ki roti, sarson ka saag, to captivating art & craft displays and fun-filled games, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation and overwhelming support from the attendees.The event was graced by the auspicious presence of worthy Director, PGIMER, Professor Vivek Lal, and other senior dignitaries of the institute. The event was a grand success with more than one thousand attendees which included staff of PGIMER, GMCH-32 and students of nearby colleges. All the dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the nursing faculty & students for this impactful initiative that will contribute to the betterment of society and create a culture of caring and giving back.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP
The department of Transfusion Medicine conducted blood donation camp on 25thFebruary, 2025 under the guidance of Prof. R.R.Sharma at Postgraduate Government College for Men, Sector 11, Chandigarh under the leadership of Dr.Ekta Paramjit and collected 84 blood units.The Department of Transfusion Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh expresses its sincere gratitude to all its volunteer donors who came forward to donate on the occasion. The donated blood and components help in catering the needs of the critically ill patients in the institute.
