CM condoles demise of Union Minister Bhupender Yadav’s father
Chandigarh, March 16 - Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini on Sunday reached Jamalpur village in Gurugram and expressed his condolences on the demise of late Sh. Kadam Singh, father of Union Forest and Environment Minister and Alwar MP Sh. Bhupender Yadav. The Union Minister's father passed away on Saturday at the age of 92. His last rites were performed on Saturday in his ancestral village Jamalpur.
The Chief Minister paid tributes by offering flowers on the photo of late Sh. Kadam Singh and prayed for peace to the departed soul. He met the Union Minister and his family members and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family.

Agriculture Minister attends 'Prabhu Milan Dham' foundation ceremony as Chief Guest in Karnal
Chandigarh, March 16 - Haryana Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister, Shyam Singh Rana said that India is known for its saints and sages. They have guided us on how to live a meaningful life.
Sh. Rana was speaking as the Chief Guest at the foundation stone laying ceremony of 'Prabhu Milan Dham' organised by the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidhyalaya in Karnal today.
He expressed his happiness, stating that being part of such spiritual gatherings brings peace and blessings to life. He said that to make India a 'Vishwaguru' (global leader)people must follow these values.
Further referring to Lord Krishna’s teachings, he said that people should rise above personal likes and dislikes and work selflessly. If everyone follows this principle, India will soon achieve its goal of becoming a 'Vishwaguru'. He also said that the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi envisions India as a developed nation by 2047, and achieving this goal requires collective effort.
The minister further said that a strong economy is essential for the nation's progress. To elevate India's economy from the fifth to the third position globally, people must adopt a peaceful path, which can be achieved through spirituality. Common people also play a crucial role in the country’s development, he added.
Budget to bring major benefits for farmers
While responding to a question, Sh. Rana said that on Monday, Chief Minister and Finance Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, will present the state budget, which will include major benefits for farmers.
Regarding hailstorm damage, he said that farmers should register on the e-kshatipurti portal to receive financial assistance.

National Centre for Disease Control will benefit patients from 7 states: Anil Vij
Chandigarh, March 16 – Haryana Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij, while inspecting the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) under construction in Naggal, Ambala Cantonment, said this institute will play an important role in the investigation and research of various diseases.
He said that this centre being built at a cost of Rs 17 crore will benefit patients from seven states including Haryana, so that they do not need to go to Delhi or Pune. The first phase of this centre being constructed on four acres of land is in progress, while the main building will be constructed in the second phase.
Scientists at NCDC will do research on identification, control and prevention of infectious diseases. This centre will be helpful in the investigation and prevention of diseases like diarrhoea, typhoid, hepatitis and measles.
Considering Ambala Cantonment as a suitable place for this, Vij said it is well connected by air, rail and road, and regular samples will be available from the medical institutions here. He stressed that this centre will play an important role in identifying and controlling new diseases.

Government ensuring equal development for all section of society- Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar
Chandigarh, March 16 – Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar said that over the past 10 years, the BJP government has focused on equal development of all sections of the society, and this progress will continue uninterrupted.
Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar was addressing residents at a felicitation ceremony in Bhandari village, Panipat district, on Sunday.
He said that no stone will be left unturned in development work in the state as well as in Israna assembly. He said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s vision of making India a developed nation by 2047 is gaining strong public support and under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Haryana will continue its journey of progress.
He also said that India’s rapid development is evident to everyone. Earlier, progress was only on paper, but since the BJP government came to power, real, ground-level development has taken place.

Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar inaugurates Atal Kisan Mazdoor Canteen
Atal Canteen will benefit farmers of Israna Assembly and nearby areas-Krishan Lal Panwar
Chandigarh, March 16 – Haryana Development and Panchayat Minister, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar inaugurated the Atal Kisan Mazdoor Canteen run by the grain market Madlauda Market Committee in Panipat District on Sunday. During the event, the minister inspected the canteen along with market officers, traders, and farmers.
To experience the canteen’s service Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar purchased a meal for just Rs.10 as per the canteen’s policy and sat among the traders and farmers, and enjoyed the food. He praised the quality and taste of the food and directed officers to maintain high food standards and cleanliness. He also assured that he would personally inspect the canteen from time to time.
After the inauguration, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar listened to the concerns of traders and farmers. Acting immediately, he directed the Electricity Department's SDO to install 2 to 3 transformers in the grain market within a week to resolve power supply issues.

30 vehicles challaned, Rs 2.96 lakh fine imposed for illegal mining in Yamunanagar
Chandigarh, March 16 - As per the instructions of Director General of Mining and Geology Department, Sh. K.M. Pandurang, concrete steps are being taken against illegal mining. During the checking of 1392 vehicles by the District Administration and Mining Department in Yamunanagar district, 30 vehicles were challaned and a fine of Rs 2.96 lakh was imposed.
Giving information in this regard, a spokesperson of the Mining and Geology Department said during the checking of 726 vehicles by the teams of SDM Chhachhrauli, the RTA department challaned 6 vehicles and imposed a fine of Rs 40,000. Similarly, during the checking of 190 vehicles by the teams of SDM Jagadhri, 12 vehicles were challaned and a fine of Rs 1.77 lakh was imposed.
He informed that during the checking of 326 vehicles by the teams of SDM Radaur, 6 vehicles were challaned and a fine of Rs 19,000 was imposed. Similarly, during the checking of 150 vehicles by the team of SDM Vyaspur, 6 vehicles were challaned and a fine of Rs 60,000 was imposed. He informed that continuous checking is being done day and night by all the SDMs, Police Department and Mining Department officials of the district.
The spokesperson said monitoring is being done to stop illegal mining at the Yamuna river and other places in Yamunanagar district. Teams appointed by the district administration are checking mineral vehicles without e-way bills on roads while action is also being ensured against those violating the rules.

No compromise on quality in government work, negligent officials to face action: Ranbir Gangwa
Chandigarh, March 16 - Haryana's Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Sh. Ranbir Gangwa has said that there will be no compromise on quality in government work. Clear instructions have been given to officials to maintain the quality of construction work. If negligence is found in road construction or other works at any level, action will be taken against officials and the concerned agency.
The minister was talking at a press conference held in Hisar on Sunday. He said construction works are checked from time to time so that public money can be utilized properly at the right place and right time.
In response to a question asked about the sewerage system of Hisar's auto market, he said as soon as this matter came to his notice, instructions were given to officials to get the sewerage system repaired. Instructions have been given to fix the sewerage and road system with best quality not only in the auto market but everywhere else as well.
He said in Hisar Municipal Corporation elections, BJP candidate Praveen Popli has won the election by about 65,000 votes, which is a historic victory. Apart from this, 17 out of 20 councillors have also won from BJP, which is a record. He said all this is the result of the public welfare policies of the Central and state governments and the faith of people in the BJP. He also congratulated the newly elected Mayor and councillors.
On this occasion, Mayor Praveen Popli, former Ministers Sh. Anoop Dhanak, Dr. Kamal Gupta and District Council Chairman Sonu Data along with other officials were also present.
