CHANDIGARH, MARCH 30: The Punjab Governor and Administrator, Union Territory, Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria today greeted the people of Punjab and Chandigarh on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Shri Kataria said, I convey my heartiest greetings and best wishes on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the festival marks the culmination of the holy month of Ramzan and brings to the fore the noble instincts in people. I hope that the festival evokes feelings of brotherhood, compassion and sharing in all the strengthens the pluralistic bonds of our composite society.
In his message, the Governor urged the people to practice the qualities of kindness, compassion, benevolence, generosity and tolerance towards our fellow citizens by recalling the tenets of Islam which lay emphasis on peace, purity and submission and obedience to the will of God.
