CHANDIGARH, 31.03.25-The Government of Punjab’s Department of Justice has vide Notification dated 30.03.2025 officially appointed Anu Chatrath, Senior Advocate as Senior Additional Advocate General in the Office of the Advocate General, Punjab. The appointment will be effective from April 1, 2025, and is for a contractual term of one year.
Anu Chatrath is already working as Additional Advocate General, Government of Punjab since February 10, 2024.
She is the daughter of former Advocate General of Punjab Late Shri Gopal Krishan Chatrath, and has earlier worked as Additional Advocate General, Punjab from 2017-2022, as Mayor of Chandigarh in 2005 & 2010. She was designated as Senior Advocate in the year 2014.
