Action against gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Anil Kumar R/o # 2241 Sector 25 Chandigarh, Ajay R/o # Village Balmiki Mohalla Barwala, Hisar Haryana, Vikash R/o #1057, Sec- 25 Chandigarh, Akash R/o # near Govt. School Balmiki Mohalla, Loari District Bhiwani Haryana and Sombir R/o #1057, Sec- 25 Chandigarh and Jasbir R/o #1061, Sec- 25 Chandigarh while playing Dara Satta main road Dadu Majra Colony towards Dhanas on 23.01.2025. Total cash Rs. 53,760/- was recovered from their possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 03, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-Crime Branch Sector 11 Chandigarh , Chandigarh. Later all accused bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A Case FIR No 07 U/S 331(4),305 BNS has been registered in Police Station IT- Park Chandigarh on the complaint of Ashu R/o # 10 Sandhu Farm Village Kaimbwala Chandigarh against unknown person who stole away 06 mobile phone from complainant shop no 219, Village Kaimbwala Chandigarh on 23.01.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress.

Attempt to murder

A Case FIR No 11 U/S 121(1),132, 125,109 351(2),3(5) BNS & 25-27 Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh on the complaint of Sr. Constable Pardeep Police Station Sector 39 Chandigarh against two unknown occupants of fronx car no PB-10JJ-8591 who run away firing on complainant, while on duty near house no 609, Shainsi Mohalla Sector-38 Chandigarh on 23.01.2025. Investigation of this case is in progress
