Chandigarh, February 17 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, India will succeed in becoming a developed nation by 2047 and is on fast track to emerge as the world's third-largest economy by 2029. He said that the budget presented by the Central Government will play a crucial role in empowering the four pillars of a developed India: the poor, youth, farmers and women.

The Chief Minister made these remarks while addressing a gathering after inaugurating a machining center and a mammography bus at LPS Bossard, located in the village Kharawar in Rohtak district. Prior to the inauguration, the Chief Minister visited the machining center, industrial unit, and corporate office of LPS Bossard.

During the event, the Chief Minister highlighted that LPS Bossard operates two buses for blood donation and general health checkups for the public. Now the management has started a mammography bus for cancer screening of women, from which the first report will be generated. This service will enable the examination of breast cancer in women and facilitate their access to treatment.

Every poor person's dream of having his own house is coming true

Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that efforts are being made to fulfill the dream of every poor person in the country of having a home. Over the past 10 years, four crore eligible poor families have been provided with houses, and future targets have been set to continue this progress. He also assured that all 77,000 eligible applicants from Haryana, who have applied under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, will receive financial support under the scheme.

The Chief Minister said that Haryana is the first state in the country to purchase 100 percent of farmers' crops at the minimum support price. In addition, the government is focusing on empowering women entrepreneurs, self-help groups, and drone didis. He mentioned that under the Lakhpati Didi Yojana, the state aims to create 5,000 Lakhpati Didis, with over 1,500 women already achieving this status.

Pledge to give government jobs to 2 lakh youth on the basis of merit

Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that equal development is being ensured in every region of the state, without any discrimination. Over the past 10 years, the state government has decided to establish a government college every 20 km to promote the education of girls, resulting in the creation of 79 government colleges across the state. Out of these, 32 colleges are exclusively for female students. As a result of the policy of the state government, the youth's interest in education has grown, and they are now preparing for competitive exams with great enthusiasm. The government is providing employment opportunities to the youth based on merit, without any expense and slip. In the next five years, the government aims to offer jobs to 2 lakh youth on the same merit-based principle.

New Municipal Government to ensure fast-tracked development in Haryana – Nayab Singh Saini

Chandigarh, February 17 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that in order to ensure the benefits of government schemes reach every household, a third level of city government in the form of Municipal bodies will now be formed in the state. This new structure, alongside the Central and State governments, will further accelerate development process across the state. He further expressed confidence that BJP's candidates for Mayor, Chairman, and Councillors will secure a huge majority in the upcoming civic elections.

The Chief Minister was interacting with party workers in Thanesar, Kurukshetra on Monday.

He said that the people of the country continue to place their trust in the public welfare policies of Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi. In the Haryana Assembly elections, the people of the state reposed their faith in the BJP for the third consecutive term, and in the recent Delhi elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party secured a resounding victory. He expressed confidence that the BJP will also emerge victorious in the upcoming civic elections in Haryana. The Chief Minister said that the BJP is always committed to elections, with party workers wholeheartedly dedicating themselves to the local body elections with great enthusiasm and hard work.

He said that after taking on the responsibility of public service with the commitment of 'service through good governance,' the current state government is continuously working for the progress and upliftment of all of Haryana and every Haryanvi. The government is guided by the principles of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mottos, 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and 'Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek.' He further assured that following the civic elections, the pace of development in the state will accelerate threefold.

*Haryana invites applications for All India Civil Services Music, Dance, and Short Drama Competition*

Chandigarh, February 17 – Haryana government has directed all department heads to submit the names of officers and employees interested in participating in the All India Civil Services Music, Dance, and Short Drama Competition 2024-25.

In a letter issued here today by the Department of Art and Cultural Affairs, trials for the competition will be held on February 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Haryana Kala Parishad Auditorium, Kurukshetra.

State and central government employees can submit their entries in the prescribed format to participate in the competition. However, uniformed personnel from defense services, paramilitary organisations, central police organisations, Police, RPF, CISF, BSF, ITBP, NSG, etc. employees of autonomous bodies undertakings, and public sector banks (even if administratively controlled by central or state ministries), as well as casual, daily wage, temporary duty staff, and newly recruited employees with less than six months of regular service are not eligible to participate.

The All India Civil Services Music, Dance, and Short Drama Competition 2024-25 will be organised by Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board and will take place from February 25 to March 3, 2025 at Premchand Rangshala, Rajendra Nagar, Patna, Bihar. Haryana invites suggestions of departments, employees on Model Online Transfer Policy, 2025

Policy aimed at maximising job satisfaction, improving performance of departments

Chandigarh, February 17 – The Haryana Government has formulated a draft Model Online Transfer Policy, 2025 in order to ensure rational distribution of government employees of a particular cadre at different locations in a fair and transparent manner, to maximise job satisfaction amongst employees and to improve the performance of the departments.

In this regard, a draft of the policy has been uploaded on the Haryana Government website csharyana.gov.in. All Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Employees of departments and organisations have been requested to send their views/suggestions on the new policy in the prescribed format. The views/suggestions can be sent on email generalservices0001@gmail.com or through special messenger in Human Resources Department on or before by February 28, 2025.

*Government taking steps to promote beekeeping in Haryana: Shyam Singh Rana

*Target to produce 15,500 metric tonnes of honey by year 2030: Shyam Singh Rana

Chandigarh, February 17 - Haryana Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said while taking steps towards crop diversification in the state, emphasis is being laid on promoting beekeeping business. For this, a beekeeping policy has also been made and Haryana is the first state to make such a policy. The state government has set a target of producing 15,500 metric tonnes of honey in the state by the year 2030.

Giving information here today, Sh. Shyam Singh Rana said a new program has been started to promote beekeeping activities in the state, such as honey production, pollen extraction and quality assessment. Under this program, special facilities are being given to beekeepers.

He said Haryana is the first state to prepare Beekeeping Policy-2021. Under this policy, a 10-year action plan has been prepared with the aim of focusing on quality honey production through various quality interventions. He informed that under this scheme, the target is to increase the production of honey from the current 4,500 metric tonnes to 15,500 metric tonnes by the end of the year 2030.

The Agriculture Minister said Integrated Beekeeping Development Center, Ramnagar has been established in Kurukshetra district. Beekeepers are trained at this center so that they can start their own business. He also said that a special concessions are being given to beekeepers on purchasing goods from this center. A provision has been made to give 85 per cent subsidy on purchasing boxes for beekeeping from here and 75 per cent subsidy on purchasing equipment. From the year 2019-20 to the year 2023-24, 56,610 boxes have been made available to beekeepers. The minister reiterated that the state government is farmer-friendly and various welfare schemes are being run for the benefit of the farmers of the state.

Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa to attend 2nd All India State Water Ministers’ Conference

Conference to be held in Udaipur on February 18-19

Chandigarh, February 17- Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa will participate in the 2nd All India State Water Ministers’ Conference in Udaipur, Rajasthan on February 18-19, 2025.

Sharing the information here today, an official spokesperson informed that the conference is being organized by the National Water Mission, Union Ministry of Jal Shakti. Public Health Engineering Ministers from various states will also participate in the event.

The conference, themed "India@2047 – A Water Secure Nation," aligns with the vision of a Viksit Bharat set forth by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. The primary focus will be on discussions around water sustainability and security across the states. Key topics include the 'Har Ghar Nal, Har Ghar Jal' initiative, the 'Jal Jeevan Mission', achieving 100 per cent reuse of treated wastewater, and the installation of energy-efficient, five-star rated pumping systems in 44 cities under the AMRUT-2 scheme in Haryana. In addition, strategies to make Haryana a water-secure state by 2047 will also be deliberated.
