Chandigarh, November 25 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said the present state government is committed to ensure that by the year 2030, every youth of the state should be skilled and become financially prosperous.
While addressing the gathering at the event commemorating 100 years of the Jat Shikshan Sansthan and the 159th birth anniversary of Seth Chhaju Ram held on Monday at Chhaju Ram Memorial Jat College in Hisar, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of education and skill development for youth.
Earlier to this, the Chief Minister also inaugurated a Yoga and Indoor Multipurpose Activity Hall and announced to give Rs. 31 lakh for this Sansthan from his discretionary fund.
Praising philanthropist Seth Chhaju Ram, the CM said that Seth Chhaju Ram worked tirelessly to spread education, especially in rural areas, lifting society from ignorance to enlightenment. His contributions to the nation’s development remain unforgettable, he said.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the ‘Viksit Haryana’ we see today owes much to Sansthans like these. He said that Jat Shikshan Sansthan have made significant contributions to the progress of the state and the nation. Seth Chhaju Ram deeply understood the value of education. Hence, he established numerous educational institutions that have given the country many IAS officers, judges, sportsmen, scientists and politicians, who have brought pride to India on the global stage, said the Chief Minister.
Numerous Initiatives introduced for the Promotion of Education in the Past 10 Years
The Chief Minister emphasized that, following the ideals of Seth Chhaju Ram, the present state government has taken several initiatives in the past decade to promote education. Colleges have been established within a 20-kilometer radius across the state. Over the last 10 years, 77 new government colleges have been opened, including 32 exclusively for girls, increasing the total number of colleges in the state to 182. The government's goal is to ensure primary education for every child, vocational training for students studying in secondary classes, and specialized education for students pursuing higher education. To achieve this, the State Higher Education Council has been established, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
Haryana to Implement National Education Policy by 2025
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi envisions an education system that empowers youth with employment skills, builds character, and instills moral values. The new National Education Policy (NEP) has been introduced to achieve this goal. While the central government aims to fully implement NEP by 2030, Haryana will achieve this milestone by 2025, making it the first state in the country to do so, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
He said that several measures have been taken, such as introducing NSQF in schools, the "Pahal" scheme in colleges, incubation centers in universities, and MoUs with industries to provide training aligned with industry requirements in technical institutions. Through the Haryana Skill Development Mission, over one lakh youth have been skilled to enable them to become self-reliant, said the Chief Minister.
Merit based Employment
The Chief Minister highlighted that the state government has provided over 1.71 lakh government jobs based on merit without any favoritism. During the third term, the government aims to offer 2 lakh permanent government jobs on a merit basis, demonstrating its commitment to this objective. The state is striving to provide higher and skill-based education to its youth, he said.
The Chief Minister also shared Haryana's remarkable performance in sports. He said that out of six medals won by India in the Olympics, four were secured by athletes from Haryana, showcasing their hard work and the state's sports policy.
Seth Chhaju Ram: A Pioneer in Education, Ranbir Gangwa
Speaking on this occasion, Cabinet Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa praised Seth Chhaju Ram for establishing educational institutions not only in Haryana but across the country. He said that these Sansthans are imparting excellent education to children from all sections of society. Sh. Ranbir Gangwa announced to give Rs. 11 lakh to Jat Shikshan Sansthan from his discretionary fund.
Government Committed to Uplifting All Sections of Society – Mahipal Dhanda
Addressing the gathering Education Minister, Sh. Mahipal Dhanda said that Haryana is rapidly progressing in the field of education, and Seth Chhaju Ram's contributions have been instrumental. He emphasized that the present state government is working tirelessly to uplift all sections of society by following the path shown by Seth Chhaju Ram. He also announced Rs. 21 lakh for the Jat Shikshan Sansthan from his discretionary fund.
On this occasion MLA, Sh. Randhir Panihar and BJP General Secretary, Sh. Surender Poonia also addressed the gathering, while MLAs, Sh. Vinod Bhyana, Smt. Chief Minister inaugurates Surya Nagar RUB and ROB in Hisar
Connectivity of the city will be further improved
Chandigarh, November 25 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated the Railway Under Bridge (RUB) and Railway Over Bridge (ROB) at Surya Nagar in Hisar on Monday. This project aims to enhance traffic flow and safety for local residents, significantly improving transportation within the city.
At the inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister said that this initiative marks a vital step in Hisar's development and will further enhance the city's connectivity. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to infrastructure development throughout the state, highlighting that the construction of the Surya Nagar RUB and ROB will greatly benefit local residents.
Public Works and Public Health Engineering Minister Sh Ranbir Gangwa said that the total length of the Surya Nagar RUB and ROB is 1,185 meters and a sum of Rs 79.40 crore has been incurred on its construction. He stated that the current government is focused on the comprehensive development of Haryana.

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini criticizes Congress, People have completely rejected the party
Chandigarh, Nov 25 – Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini congratulated the BJP on its decisive victory in the Maharashtra elections and criticized Congress, stating that the public has completely rejected the party.
While interacting with media persons in Hisar, Chief Minister asserted that Congress attempts to mislead the public, having tried similar tactics in Haryana. It is possible that in the coming days may attempt to mislead people through different approach in the future, but the public has firmly rejected the party.
He praised the "double engine government" for its rapid development and welfare initiatives, adding that the people of Haryana have supported the BJP’s development policies for the third consecutive time. He said that Congress tried to hinder progress with lies but was unsuccessful.
On the recent election result of Maharashtra, he said that Congress has been effectively eliminated in these elections. Congress should evaluate the accomplishments of Prime Minister Modi over the past decade compared to its own 55 years in power. This assessment will clearly demonstrate how much PM Narendra Modi has surpassed their record.
In response to a query about delimitation, Chief Minister said that any guidelines issued in this regard would be followed appropriately. In response to questions about DAP fertilizer, he assured that there is no shortage of DAP in Haryana.

Minister holds review meeting of Forest Dept, sets target of increasing tree cover to 10 per cent in state
Chandigarh, November 25: Minister of Environment, Forests and Wildlife Rao Narbir Singh chaired a review meeting of the schemes and activities of the department here today. During the meeting, the minister directed the department officials to take steps to promote eco-tourism and to increase the tree cover area from 7.75 per cent to 10 per cent in the state. He said ‘Green Gurugram-Green Haryana’ campaign should be run to promote awareness on afforestation.
He said it is his vision that improvements and transparency in the department should be visible on the ground. He directed to send a demand letter to the government soon to fill about 1,000 Forest Guard posts, which are currently lying vacant.
Issuing strict instructions against corruption of any kind, the minister told the officials to change their attitude and work in a transparent manner. He said any irregularity will not be tolerated and action shall be taken against whoever is found guilty. Issuing strict instructions, he directed all DFOs and other officials to clear pending files within 15 days. He told them to go in the field, understand the problems of their respective areas and resolve them in a time-bound manner.
Stressing the need to renovate and upgrade the Sultanpur National Park near Gurugram, the minister told the department officials to chalk out a detailed plan to introduce new facilities in the park so that the tourist footfall can be increased, adding that responsibility needed to be fixed at the department level for the upgrade and upkeep of the Sultanpur National Park.
The minister told the officials to especially focus on the maintenance and upgrade of nurseries in the state. He said there should be no discrimination with any area when it comes to issuing permissions and NOCs for tree felling and other works.
Sh. Rao Narbir Singh told department officials to identify sites in mountains where embankments can be constructed to stop rainwater from flowing and storing it for better use. He said steps have to be taken to promote eco-tourism in the state so that common people choose Haryana for vacationing and sightseeing.
He directed the officers of the department to plant 22 lakh saplings on the occasion of Van Mahotsav in the state, in which 1 lakh saplings would be planted in each of the 22 districts and these should be looked after for four years till they take roots. He said Kabuli Kikar is a big problem. Many a times, it also causes accidents on both sides of the road, therefore the concerned DFO will have to ensure pruning of at least 10 per cent of Kabuli Kikar trees every year and new shady trees will have to be planted in its place. The minister also stressed on involving NGOs in afforestation work and using modern techniques to protect saplings from attack by stray animals.
The minister was informed in the meeting that the total tree cover in the state is around 7.75 per cent. The department was ensuring sustainable management of forests and management of protected areas like natural parks, wildlife sanctuaries, Ramsar sites and community reserves. It is also establishing herbal parks, nurseries, Oxy-vans and agro-forests across the state. Schemes like Green India Mission and Paudhagiri scheme are being run to promote afforestation and environment protection. The minister told the officials to ensure more efficiency in work and achieve the target of having 10 percent tree cover in the state.
Additional Chief Secretary, Environment, Forests & Wildlife, Sh. Anand Mohan Sharan, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Sh. Jagdish Chander, Divisional Forest Officers and other officials were present in the meeting.

Chandigarh, November 26- On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India, Constitution Day celebrations will be held across the state.
Haryana Governor Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya will be the Chief Guest at the event in Sonipat, while Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini will grace the program as the Chief Guest in Kurukshetra.
The Chief Secretary's Office has today released a list of Ministers, Members of Parliament (MPs), and Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) who will participate as Chief Guests in various programs organized across all 22 districts of the state.
According to this list, in Sonipat, along with Governor Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya, MLA Rai Smt. Krishna Gehlawat, local MLA Sh. Nikhil Madaan, MLA Kharkhoda Sh. Pawan Kharkhoda and MLA Ganaur Sh.
