MAHENDERGARH, 27.11.24-The Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh inaugurated the Global Young Academician Networking Initiative (GYANI) with a lecture series Organized by the Department of Biotechnology. The GYANI initiative aims to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration among young researchers worldwide.

Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, extended his full support to the initiative and stated that the program would help students connect with the global scientific community and excel in their academic pursuits.
The event was graced by Prof. Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Dean of the School of Interdisciplinary and Applied Sciences (SIAS), along with faculty members from various departments. Dr. Rupesh Deshmukh, Head of the Department of Biotechnology, welcomed the chief guest and introduced the event. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Roshan Kumar Yadav, Advisor to Nepal’s Ministry of Forestry and Environment and former member of the Nepal National Commission for UNESCO. Dr. Yadav shared his research experiences, discussed Nepal's natural resources and their use in Ayurvedic medicine and agriculture, and emphasized the need for bilateral student and faculty exchange programs. So far, 20 researchers from the USA, Canada, and Europe have joined the GYANI network. This year, the initiative aims to include around 100 young researchers from across the globe.
Students, faculty members, and research scholars from various departments actively participated in the event. Prof. Dinesh Kumar Gupta highlighted the importance of such initiatives in exposing students to global research opportunities and fostering their professional growth. The program marked a significant step in CUH’s commitment to fostering global partnerships and academic excellence.
