CHANDIGARH, 28.03.25-Green Campus Committee of GGDSD College, Chandigarh under Jal Shakti Abhiyan organized a Poster making/Slogan writing competition on 28^th March, 2025 with a focus on educating the young minds of the college on the theme ‘Rain Water Harvesting: A Sustainable Solution for Water Conservation’. A total 57 students of various UG and PG courses participated enthusiastically in the slogan and poster making competitions. The main focus of the event was to create awareness about the water conservation and the importance of sustainable rain water harvesting practices. The students were also taken to observe various rainwater harvesting systems constructed within the college, where they were educated on the importance of water conservation.

The efforts of the GCC committee were duly appreciated by the worthy Principal Dr Ajay Sharma. He insisted that every step should be taken to manage and utilise our water resources wisely by making water conservation a part of our daily routine. The event concluded with the facilitation of the winners.
