Chandigarh/Mohali/Panchkula/ Delhi, 25th April, 2023- 'Blood donation is not a social factor but, a divine quality of humanity which reflects the spirit of contribution.' This divine words was expressed by Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj while addressing a mammoth gathering on the occasion of Manav Ekta Diwas organized at Ground No. 2 Nirankari Chowk, Delhi.
Giving information, Secretary of Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, respected Joginder Sukhija Ji said that on the occasion of Manav Ekta Diwas, Delhi and N.C.R approx. 1,200 units blood collected. And 384 units of devotees voluntarily donated blood in Chandigarh. Apart from this, more than 50,000 units of blood were collected all over India.
Satguru Mata Ji further stated that blood donation is such a beautiful gesture of selfless service in which only the good of the world is in mind then, the feeling does not arise in the heart that not only our relatives or our family is important but, the whole world becomes our family.
As it is well known Manav Ekta Diwas is dedicated to the inspirational teachings of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji. Along with this, the selfless service of the fully devoted Chacha Pratap Singh and other great martyr saints are also remembered on this day. On the occasion of 'Manav Ekta Diwas', a series of blood donation camps are organized in a big way along with a Satsang programmes at almost all branches of Sant Nirankari Mission. These camps continued to be organized at various places of the country throughout the year.
Under this great campaign a large scale blood donation camp was organized in the capital of India in the holy presence of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj and Nirankari Rajpita Ji, in which all the devotees participated in this Satsang programme. Enjoyed a lot and all the blood donors participated voluntarily donated blood with full enthusiasm. The doctors and visitors of the blood collection hospitals lauded the Mission for all the selfless services they are doing.
Describing the importance of blood donation, Satguru Mata Ji said that 'Blood should flows in the veins, not in drains' that, while donating blood, we do not consider in whose body our blood is going, it is a social work which reflects human values. A living example of blood donation was given by Nirankari Rajpita Ji Himself by donating blood.
Apart from the Indian Red Cross Society, AIIMS, AIIMS CNC, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia, Guru Teg Bahadur, Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan, Hindu Rao, G.B.Pant, Safdarjung, Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Sucheta Kriplani (Lady Harding Medical College) and Dr. Hedgewar etc. qualified doctors and their trained teams reached there for the collection of the blood. All the donors went through a check up prior to the blood donation.
