Ghumarwin, Bilaspur, October 18, 2024:Minister of Urban Planning, Housing, Technical Education, Vocational and Industrial Training, Rajesh Dharmani, attended the closing ceremony of the two-day Child Science Congress held at Government Senior Secondary School, Dadhol. On this occasion, he praised the science models and innovations presented by the students, stating that such events foster scientific thinking and creativity among children. He added, "Organizing such programs is crucial for promoting children's scientific thinking and innovation, enabling them to build a better future in the field of science and technology." Additionally, the minister announced a financial aid of 15 lakhs for the construction of a basketball court at Dadhol School.

In his address, the minister emphasized the importance of the Child Science Congress, saying, "This conference serves as an important platform for our children to express their ideas and develop their interest in science. Children should be encouraged to recognize their potential and learn new things. Such events not only enhance children's talent but also inspire them to become future scientists and researchers."

The minister also shared detailed information about the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He explained that AI technology has become a significant part of our daily lives and is revolutionizing various sectors such as education, health, transportation, and industry. The minister stated, "The use of AI can simplify and make our working lives more effective. It helps in data analysis, decision-making, and enhancing personal experiences." He urged students to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of AI, as the demand for this technology is expected to increase in the future.

This Child Science Congress witnessed participation from 455 students from 82 schools in the Ghumarwin-1 and Ghumarwin-2 education blocks. Science quizzes, Math Olympiads, and science model competitions were conducted, in which students enthusiastically participated. Outstanding performers were selected for the district-level Child Science Congress.
