*Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini meets Union Education Minister Sh Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi*

Chandigarh, October 19: Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini paid a courtesy visit to Union Education Minister, Sh. Dharmendra Pradhan in New Delhi today. During the meeting, several important issues were discussed between the Chief Minister and the Union Minister.


After assuming office, Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini discussed various political, economic, and social matters with Union Minister Sh. Dharmendra Pradhan. During the meeting, the Chief Minister honored the Union Minister with a shawl and a bouquet, while the Union Minister welcomed him with a traditional Patka.

Notably, this visit marks Sh. Nayab Singh Saini's first visit to New Delhi following his swearing-in and he has been meeting with various Union Ministers. Residents from Haryana have been visiting Haryana Bhawan in New Delhi to extend their congratulations and best wishes to the Chief Minister.

On this occasion, while interacting with the media persons, Cabinet Minister, Sh. Vipul Goel said that the State government will continue to work towards realizing the expectations and aspirations of the people of the State. He stated that Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini is implementing new decisions as per the party’s manifesto. Under the Chief Minister's leadership, the state government is committed to the upliftment of all sections of society and will lead the state to new heights of progress, he added.

Chandigarh, October 19 – Haryana Cabinet Minister, Rao Narbir Singh said that making Gurugram a clean and beautiful city is his priority. He also emphasised the need to work towards a jam, polythene and encroachment free city.

Rao Narbir Singh was presiding over a meeting of district officers in Gurugram today. This was his first official meeting after taking oath as Cabinet Minister.

While sharing his vision and agenda for the city's development, the Minister directed all officers to work towards making Gurugram a clean and beautiful city by Diwali. Regarding the city's roads and waterlogging issues, he directed that drainage systems must be cleaned before the construction or repair of roads. Footpaths should be repaired, followed by road improvements. No road repair work should be undertaken until the drainage system is fully operational. A letter will also have to be taken in writing from the concerned RWA that they are satisfied with the work, he added. He said that our goal should be to make Gurugram a beautiful and well-organised city, in line with its global image.
During the meeting, the Minister sought information from departmental officers about garbage collection, the disposal of construction and demolition (C&D) waste, the strengthening and beautification of major roads, drainage systems, encroachments, and traffic management.

The cabinet Minister mentioned that some specific areas such as Ghata T-Point to National Highway-48 should have a proper water drainage system. Similarly, development works at Hilton Road Sector 50 to Golf Course Road should also be prioritized. He also directed the police department to prepare a proper action plan for effective traffic management and to make Gurugram a jam-free city.

During the meeting, Rao Narbir Singh said that cities like Indore and Kota are excellent examples for other cities in the ‘Swachhata’ index and suggested that officers with a vision for development should visit these cities to implement similar systems in Gurugram as well. He also appealed to the people to actively contribute towards the development of Gurugram city besides government efforts.

SHOs will be held accountable if encroachments re-occur

Reviewing the ongoing encroachment free drive in the city, the Minister said that in some cases, people were reoccupying areas where encroachments had been removed. He directed the Commissioner of Police, Sh. Vikas Kumar Arora that if an area is re-encroached after removal, the concerned SHO would be held accountable.

CEO, GMDA, Sh. A. Sreenivas, Gurugram, Municipal Corporation Commissioner, Sh. Narhari Singh Bangar, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Manesar, Sh. Ashok Kumar Garg, along with HODs and other employees of all departments remained present during the meeting.

Chandigarh, October 19: Cabinet Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa has said that the BJP government has given a Diwali gift to thousands of families by providing employment to qualified youths without any bribe or recommendation.

He said that the Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, kept his promise by providing jobs to nearly 25,000 youths. He assured that every promise made to the people will be fulfilled in the same manner.

Cabinet Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa was addressing the administrative officers in Barwala, Hisar, and party workers in Kaithal today.

He said that under the leadership and guidance of the Prime Minister, Sh.
