Mahendergarh, 22.03.25-Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendergarh, organized Alumni Meet on Saturday, 22nd March 2025, with enthusiastic participation from former students. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University and the guest of honour, Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar of the University. The Dean Academic, Prof. Sanjiv Kumar, also attended the event. In line with World Water Day, the participants took a pledge to use water judiciously and promote water conservation.
In his address, Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar emphasized the important critical role of alumni in the growth and development of any institution. He highlighted that alumni are the true ambassadors of the university, and their contributions significantly impact its progress. The Vice-Chancellor expressed his joy at reconnecting with the former students, reiterating that the alumni meet offers a chance to reunite and collaborate for the university’s continued success. Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar also shared that the purpose of the alumni meet was to ensure that the influence of former students is visible in the present-day student community, contributing to the overall growth of the institution.
Prof. Suneel Kumar, Registrar of the University, also acknowledged the continuous progress under the leadership of Prof. Tankeshwar Kumar and expressed hope that the alumni meet would lead to positive results and further strengthen the bonds between the alumni and the University. Prof. Harish Kumar, Dean of the Alumni Association, informed the participants about the activities of the association and the University. He said that this platform would undoubtedly provide an opportunity for students to connect with each other, engage in dialogue, and build stronger bonds.
Prof. Pramod Kumar, the former Dean of the Alumni Association, also spoke at the event, providing an in-depth overview of the association's work and the valuable contributions that students make to its success. His remarks underscored the importance of alumni in maintaining the association's mission and activities. Prof. Anand Sharma, Dean of Student Welfare, addressed the alumni with an inspiring message, stating that challenges and success are always intertwined. He shared the notion that happiness is the greatest success in life and emphasized the university's continuous progress and the collective efforts of students and alumni in achieving these milestones.
The event featured cultural programs and included insightful discussions from alumni, such as Dr. Oval Yadav, Shreya, Nagmani, Abhishek, Sandeep, and Aziz, who shared their experiences and pledged continued support for the university's progress. The event was conducted by Dr. Sudeep and Dr. Neeraj Karn Singh. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Suman.
